From The Country 2008
Selina Scott and Tony Francis return
to our screens with more Tales from the Country on
ITV1. Across 10 weeks, the pair discover some of the weirdest and
wonderful stories which surround our daily lives. From the midnight
bikers of Suffolk, to heading underground with the brothers who own
their own private coal mine – we find the stories others overlook.
This years series will be shown in three of the ITV1 regions –
London, Anglia and Central.
The series begins in the London and Anglia regions on February 21st
at 7.30pm on ITV1.

The
One Show – Claims to Fame – BBC1
As part of the weekday habit that is BBC One’s The
One Show, Kingfisher Television were charged with bringing
unsung stories to the screen. The UK’s remotest station, the
nation’s only Gold Mine and its only mobile cinema –

Saving
Planet Earth - New for the BBC.
Test
Match Special commentator Jonathan Agnew takes a tour of the East
Midlands to meet the people dedicating themselves to saving various
species of Britain’s wildlife. The programme sees Jonathan
looking at a variety of animals across the region. The programme
will air later in 2007.

in search of the best railway stories in the world, the 8 part series
looking at life on the rails has been completed.
After
airing on ITV1 on Sunday evenings, the series is also now available
to buy on either DVD or VHS. The series features 8 half hour long
looks at aspects of the railways – both past and present.
